Patna- Bihar Opposition Leader Tejashwi Yadav has declared his party RJD's readiness for potential early state Assembly elections, responding to speculation about accelerated polling timelines. The statement came after Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary suggested the possibility of early elections in Bihar.

In his remarks, Yadav sharply criticized the Election Commission, comparing it to "a cancer" and describing it as a "cheerleader" that might announce elections at any time. He expressed confidence in public support for change, claiming that the BJP is losing ground while RJD gains favor as an alternative.

Minister Chaudhary, representing the NDA alliance, confirmed their preparedness for elections whenever scheduled, highlighting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's development record. However, Yadav countered this narrative, alleging that Kumar lacks fresh vision and that the state government is effectively being run by bureaucrats.

Yadav also criticized Prime Minister Modi's recent Bhagalpur visit as politically motivated, arguing that it showed little genuine concern for Bihar's development, employment, or migration issues.

The debate extended to personal matters when JD-U leader Neeraj Kumar questioned Lalu Prasad Yadav's health. Tejashwi responded by asserting his father's fitness surpassed that of Nitish Kumar. Regarding speculation about Kumar's son Nishant entering politics, Tejashwi offered a welcoming but pointed response, suggesting Nishant should marry before pursuing a political career.

On other matters, Yadav addressed the situation with Sharad Yadav's party, claiming it had been "hijacked" by JD-U members, while expressing support for Sharad's son Shantanu. He also shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming India-Pakistan Champions Trophy match, voicing his support for India.
