Balaghat- The Special Operation Group of the Hawk Force successfully apprehended a notorious female Naxalite in the Chicharangpur forest area of Parsatola, under the jurisdiction of the Baihar police station in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. This arrest occurred despite a fierce attempt by a group of Naxalites to rescue her.

The captured Naxalite had a bounty of ₹14 lakh on her head, and she is implicated in six criminal cases, including murder, linked to Naxalite activities in the region, according to Balaghat-Mandla Range IG Sanjay Kumar.

During the operation, the Hawk Force recovered a pistol, a magazine, an axe, and other items from her possession. The governments of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra had jointly announced the reward for her capture.
