ED Continues Raid on Ex-RG Kar Medical College Principal's Properties

Agency searches multiple locations, including Ghosh's flat, bungalow, and associate's homes

Kolkata- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is continuing its search for various documents and other evidence relating to the financial irregularities of former RG Kar Medical College and Hospital principal Dr Sandip Ghosh.

According to a statement issued by the ED, the agency is searching the flat of Ghosh in Beleghata, 1 bungalow of Ghosh's at Canning of South 24 PGS district of West Bengal, Ghosh's sister-in-law Dr Arrita Bera and her husband Dr Pritin Bera at their Salt Lake sector 2 flat. The ED has also detained a person named Prasun Chattopadhyay from his house at Subhasgram area of Kolkata suburb.

The agency is also searching at the house of Kaushik Kole, vendor of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, and also of the associate of the arrested vendor Biplav Singha and Swapan Saha who is known to Ghosh. In addition, the ED is also searching a medical shop at Camac Street in Kolkata. The search for Ghosh's home is going on since early Friday.
