Udaipur- A collaborative effort at the Government High School in Ranawada in Nayagaon subdivision of Kherwada block has successfully transformed 6 acres of land into a levelled sports ground with community support. Villagers revealed that no state government funds or any form of public treasury were utilized in this endeavour. The lack of a sports field was posing significant challenges for students in engaging in physical activities at the school, prompting the school's principal, Kalpesh Meena, to take action.

In response to this pressing need, a dedicated team comprising active members of the local Seva Mandir committee, including Nathu Singh Sisodiya (President), Jaswant Singh Sisodiya (Secretary), Thavar Chand Joshi (Treasurer), and members such as Karan Singh, Pratap Singh, and Laxman Singh, collaborated with the efforts of Seva Mandir Foundation's Narayan Joshi. Together, they contributed a grant of 1 lakh forty-one thousand rupees towards the establishment of the sports field. Recognizing that this amount was insufficient for the project's completion, the principal sought support from local residents and members of the SDM's office. A social activist Dharnendra Jain told The Mooknayak about the collaborative efforts that has paid off.

The lack of a sports field posed significant challenges for students in engaging in physical activities earlier.

Through the tireless efforts of the principal, the villagers, including Shanti Singh, Jivan Singh, Dinesh Fauji, Makan Singh, Motilal Ahari, Navneet Singh, Balu Singh, Devi Singh, Ram Singh, Dalpat Singh Garasia, Anita Devi, and Ranjeet Singh, along with SDM committee members, pooled their resources. They contributed JCBs, tractors, and other necessary equipment, facilitating the levelling and preparation of the sports ground on a six-acre plot.

Principal Meena expressed his gratitude towards the villagers and the Seva Mandir Foundation, emphasizing that this transformed sports field has now become a platform for students to actively participate in various sports and activities. He extended his blessings to Seva Mandir and the villagers for their collaborative support.

This initiative not only highlights the community's commitment to the well-being of its youth but also serves as an example to the power of collective effort in realizing essential infrastructure projects without relying on government funds.
