New Delhi- Following a historic turnout at Jantar Mantar on June 6, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced the next phase of nationwide student protests, beginning June 11, with an indefinite strike at Jantar Mantar, Delhi, scheduled to start on June 20 if the government fails to meet their demands.

The protests, which saw students from across India unite at Jantar Mantar on June 6, have been triggered by repeated examination failures, paper leaks, technical glitches, and administrative negligence attributed to the Ministry of Education. The CJP stated that the June 6 turnout demonstrated that the country’s youth are unafraid to question the government over issues affecting millions of families and young people’s futures.

Beginning tomorrow, June 11, peaceful protests will spread across multiple cities, starting with Pune and continuing to Lucknow, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Jaipur, and Hyderabad.

The CJP has demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, accusing him of failing to take responsibility for the repeated institutional failures. “Accountability must begin at the top,” the CJP reiterated.

If Dharmendra Pradhan won’t resign by himself, PM Modi should sack him immediately.

If the government does not remove the minister, or if Pradhan does not offer his resignation, the CJP has called for a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi starting June 20, which will continue indefinitely until the minister resigns. The movement, the CJP said, is about defending the integrity of India’s education system and ensuring no student pays the price for institutional failure.

Students, parents, teachers, and citizens across the country have been invited to join the struggle for accountability and justice.
