New Delhi- The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has been ranked the second-best institute in the country in the Engineering category by the NIRF Rankings 2024 released by the Ministry of Education on Monday.

IIT Delhi is one of the top three institutes in the research category and fourth among the top five management institutes in the country. It has secured the fourth position in the overall category.

The Dean of the institute, Prof Vivek Buwa, said, "We are happy that IIT Delhi continues to be one of the top institutions in the country for Engineering, Management and Research. This is a recognition of the high-quality education and research of industrial and societal relevance undertaken by the Institute. I would like to congratulate all the faculty, students and staff on this achievement."
