Jaipur. On August 16th, amidst the vibrant streets of Dholpur, a transformative journey commenced – the Sarvajan Hitay Sarvajan Sukhay Sankalp Yatra. This purposeful expedition spanned across 33 districts, stretching over 3500 kilometers in the course of 13 days, traversing through the heartlands of Rajasthan. The culmination of this remarkable 13-day Rath Yatra unfolded in Jaipur , the capital city of the state on on 29 August.

Hailing from every corner of Rajasthan, ardent supporters gathered to commemorate the journey that began in Dholpur City. The yatra's path touched 96 of the state's 200 Assemblies, echoing the ideals of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and his vision for an egalitarian society. Here, BSP National Coordinator Akash Anand passionately addressed the congregation of devoted party workers. Anand not only launched a scathing critique against the state's Congress government and BJP at the centre, as anticipated but also skilfully delivered veiled criticisms towards Bhim Army Chief Chandra Shekhar Azad

'The blue flag with the elephant symbol is only one that is yours'

While Akash Anand vehemently attacked the Congress government of the state, as was expected, he took veiled swipes at Bhim Army Chief Chandra Shekhar Azad. Anand targeted the emerging leader. He said that one 'Chamcha,' who sits in the lap of RJD, RLD, and KCR, is pretending to be a saviour of the constitution. He reminded everyone that there are many people with blue flags, but the blue flag with the elephant symbol is the only one that belongs to them.

Promises when elections are around

Citing some figures, Anand said that about 60% of the children in the state have not received any kind of education. Even if 40% of the students manage to reach government schools, 70% of the government schools don’t have electricity, and 70% of the schools also don’t have computers. He alleged that the government has promised 25 days of employment, 200 units of free electricity, etc., only when elections are around the corner.

Anand targetted the BJP claiming that it failed to fulfil the promises made to the people. The young leader didn’t spare the BJP either and said that the BJP promised to double the income of farmers by 2022, but instead, the income of the farmers is declining every day. The promise of providing a home to every homeless person by 2022 also proved to be false, like their every promise.

Bahujan Samaj Party

The nephew of the party supremo also highlighted the achievements of the Bahujan Samaj Party in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He claimed that BSP works for the upliftment of Sarvasamaj, and the party supremo Mayawati named various universities and cities after Bahujan Social Reformers like Chatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University and Ambedkar University. 'She allocated 600 crore for the education of 7 lakh girls; the BSP government provided 27% reservation to OBC students in the hostel,' he added.

The Rath Yatra, modelled around the yatra Bahujan Rajyadhikar Yatra of Dr. R.S. Praveen Kumar, the Telangana State chief of the Party, is seen as an opportunity for Akash Anand to connect with the masses.
