Uttar Pradesh— Loni BJP MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar stirred controversy on Friday, alleging that Uttar Pradesh is witnessing its "most corrupt government ever" and accusing officials of misleading Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while looting the state exchequer.

Addressing a press conference in a torn kurta, Gurjar claimed, "The police tore my clothes." He further alleged that the state's chief secretary had "tied the brain of Maharaj Ji" (a reference to CM Yogi Adityanath) through occult practices.

"The chief secretary is the most corrupt officer in the world. Officers have illegally acquired land in Ayodhya," he alleged.

Clash Over 'Ram Kalash Yatra'

Gurjar also raised concerns over police actions during the 'Ram Kalash Yatra' in Loni on Thursday. He stated that women were participating in the traditional religious procession when the police attempted to stop it, escalating tensions.

According to ACP (Ankur Vihar) Ajay Kumar Singh, the MLA and his supporters were attempting to conduct the Yatra without official permission. However, Gurjar countered the claim, stating that an application for permission had been submitted through the Loni Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM).

"The Ram Kalash Yatra is a longstanding tradition, and no permission was ever required in previous years," the MLA asserted.

Allegations Against Government and Appeal for Peace

In a sharp attack on his own party-led government, Gurjar alleged that large-scale cow slaughter is taking place across Uttar Pradesh and that people are being killed in fake encounters.

Despite his strong criticisms, the MLA later released a video urging the Gurjar community to maintain peace and refrain from blocking roads in protest.

The allegations by the BJP legislator have sparked a political storm, raising questions about internal rifts within the ruling party in Uttar Pradesh.
