Voting Open for 'Dekho Apna Desh, People's Choice 2024' Until September 15

This initiative aims to engage citizens in selecting their favorite tourist spots across five categories: Spiritual, Cultural & Heritage, Nature & Wildlife, Adventure, and an open category for personal favorites like Vibrant Border Villages and Wellness Tourism.

New Delhi- The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has launched the first-ever nation-wide initiative, 'Dekho Apna Desh, People's Choice 2024,' to identify India's most preferred tourist attractions and enhance them into world-class destinations. Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 7th March 2024 in Srinagar, voting is open until 15th September 2024.

This initiative aims to engage citizens in selecting their favorite tourist spots across five categories: Spiritual, Cultural & Heritage, Nature & Wildlife, Adventure, and an open category for personal favorites like Vibrant Border Villages and Wellness Tourism.

Citizens can cast their votes through a dedicated portal at https://innovateindia.mygov.in/dekho-apna-desh/ using their mobile number or email ID.

The results will guide the development of top tourist attractions and help preserve cultural landmarks and traditions for future generations, supporting India's journey towards Viksit Bharat@2047.
