The police took immediate action in response to the incident that unfolded last Monday. According to reports, the incident occurred after the woman's son eloped with a girl.

Police revealed that the girl was intended to be engaged to someone else, and upon learning about the elopement, her family attacked the boy's house in New Vantamuri village, causing damage. The girl's family reportedly dragged the boy's mother, stripped her, paraded her, and eventually tied her to an electric pole. Prompt police intervention led to the woman's rescue.
