Five More Student Deaths in 48 Hours Trigger CJP's 'Chalo Dilli' Call; Govt Faces Accountability Demand

New Delhi- In a decisive move, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has demanded immediate government accountability following the reported deaths of five students across the country in the last 48 hours. The deaths, which occurred in Alwar, Sikar, Dehradun, Coimbatore, and Ahmedabad, have brought the total number of such reported fatalities linked to the ongoing education crisis to eleven.

Terming the situation a "national emergency," the CJP has announced a massive protest, "Chalo Dilli," scheduled for June 20 at Jantar Mantar. The body has demanded a compensation of ₹1 crore for the families of each affected student and has called for urgent, transparent action from the central government.

The organizers have declared June 20 as the "last chance to fix India’s broken education system." They have issued a nationwide appeal, urging students, parents, and citizens from all walks of life to converge on the national capital. In a bid to broaden the movement, the CJP has also extended a special invitation to artists, musicians, writers, and students across the country to lend their voices to the democratic movement demanding systemic reform.

In a message directed at NEET aspirants currently appearing for their examinations, the CJP expressed solidarity, stating, "To all NEET students, we wish you the very best. We hope that by the time your exams are over, those responsible for this crisis will no longer be in charge of the education system."

Despite weeks of sustained protests and public appeals, the CJP has noted that the government has not reached out to address their concerns. In an official statement, the committee reiterated its openness to dialogue, but expressed deep concern over the "silence" from the authorities.

"We remain open to dialogue, but the silence is deeply concerning," the party members stated, as it ramped up preparations for the proposed June 20 demonstration in the heart of the capital. Its noteworthy that CJP which organised its first protest on June 6 at Jantar Mantar, had held successful rallies in Pune, Jaipur, Amritsar, Bengaluru and Hyderabad in past two weeks.
