Wayanad- As the search for more bodies continues in the landslide-hit areas of Wayanad in Kerala, the state government has deployed 15 sniffer dogs to aid in the search operations.

The search for more bodies in the areas of Mundakkai and Chooralmala, which were heavily battered by the landslide last Tuesday, is continuing with 15 sniffer dogs deployed to assist in the search.

According to the state government, one more body has been recovered from the debris, and it has been dispatched to the Meppady Community Health Centre.

The search for more bodies in the Chaliyar River at Nilambur and adjoining forest areas in Malappuram is also continuing. Under the guidance of State Revenue Minister K Rajan, 31 bodies that remain unidentified and unclaimed will be buried on Monday afternoon at Puththumala.

158 dismembered body parts, each numbered after taking DNA samples, will also be interred on Monday evening.
