CM Yogi, BSP Chief Mayawati Pay Tributes to Bahujan Nayak Kanshiram on his 89th Birth Anniversary

Lucknow— BSP National President and former CM Mayawati commemorated the 89th birth anniversary of Bahujan Nayak Kanshiram at the BSP State headquarters in Lucknow on Wednesday. The party workers and supporters also paid homage at Kanshi Ram Eco Garden and Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal in Noida. In a press release issued by the Party, Kanshiram was acknowledged for founding BAMCEF, DS4, Bahujan Samaj Party and for enabling the formation of the BSP government four times.

During the event, Mayawati expressed gratitude to the public for their prolonged support and pledged to continue their united struggle against their opponents. Mayawati denounced the BJP, SP, and Congress as casteist and anti-Bahujan parties. She also criticized the government for the rising number of suicides in higher education institutions and urged them to take prompt action. Mayawati cited the improper policies of the Uttar Pradesh government as a hindrance to justice for the state's people, especially the Dalits and the backwards.

General Secretary of the BSP, Akash Anand, also commemorated the occasion and stated that the organization would not cease its efforts to unite the victims of the system and eradicate inequality. "I pay my respects to Bahujan Nayak and Manyavar Kanshi Ram Saheb on his Birth Anniversary," he added.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi and SP President also paid homage to Kanshiram. CM Yogi praised Bahujan Nayak Kanshiram's lifelong commitment to the welfare of Dalits, the deprived, and the oppressed. Samajwadi Party paid tribute to Manyawar Kanshiram's fight for the rights of the Dalits, the deprived, and the oppressed.

Kanshiram, who was born on March 15, 1934, in Ropar, Punjab, passed away on October 9, 2006, in New Delhi.
