BBAU Campus of Lucknow reverberates with the slogan of SAVE CONSTITUTION

On the occasion of "Constitution Day" A Samvidhan Bachao Yatra was organized by the Ambedkar University Dalit Students Union (AUDSU).

Hundreds of Students from various departments of the BBAU (BABA SAHEB BHIM RAO AMBEDKAR UNIVERSITY) gathered at Ashoka Boys Hostel and marched to the Ambedkar Statue. The slogans of Baba tera mission adhura hum sab milkar karenge poora and Baba tera yeh Balidan Yaad rakhega Hindustan and samvidhan bachao rent the air.

The students gathered at the Ambedkar Statue, where many students delivered speeches exhorting to save the Reservation and the Constitution. Vinay Kanaujiya of the Ambedkar University Dalit Students Union addressed the gathering and lambasted the EWS quota terming it Sudama Quota". He alleged that the Varsity administration and teachers have attempted at undermining the reservation system by not fulfilling the mandated 50% quota in the university and claimed that AUDSU has always worked in the interest of students from the depressed classes for the last 22 years.

Later at 2 PM, a public meeting was organized at Ashoka Boys Hostel Lawn, which started with a play based on the caste atrocities in the society.  The meeting was also addressed by Nand Kishore More of the Environmental Sciences who delineated the salient features of the preamble.
