Telangana CM to woo US, South Korea for investments

Revanth Reddy to meet CEOs, industrialists in 12-day trip

Hyderabad-Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will soon embark on a 12-day visit to the United States of America and South Korea. The purpose of this visit is to attract industrial investments to the state.

A statement released by the chief minister's office said that senior officials of various industries will also be part of the trip. He is expected to return to Hyderabad on August 14.

The visit is aimed at getting investments for the state by meeting with CEOs and industrialists from various sectors. This includes IT, healthcare, manufacturing, and research and development. The chief minister and his colleagues are expecting key investment announcements to come out of this trip. He will also meet with Indian Diaspora leaders in New Jersey.

The agenda for the visit includes a breakfast meeting with the CEO of Cognizant, one-on-one sessions with senior managers from Cigna, Arcesium, Corning, and Zoetis. He will also attend a CEO Roundtable lunch hosted by the Consul General of India and hold discussions with executives from different companies. During his visit to California, he will visit Apple Park and meet with the Apple Manufacturing team and Trinet CEO. He will also have some talks with other groups regarding data centre expansion in Hyderabad. He will leave for South Korea on August 11, where he will meet with executives from various pharmaceutical companies, car manufacturers, and the Korean Federation of Textiles Industry. He will also visit the Korean National Sports University and the Han River Project.
