New Delhi- The country is determined to build a strong economy based on 140 crore people's collective resolve, said the Prime Minister in a statement on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Deendayal Upadhyaya.

He said the "Make in India" initiative, which aims to promote domestic manufacturing of goods and services, will strengthen the country's economy and benefit the people.

"Make in India" is a collective resolve of 140 crore Indians. We will make India a developed and prosperous country by increasing employment opportunities, said the Prime Minister.

He said the government is committed to improving the quality of life of the people by providing them with better opportunities. This will be achieved by promoting employment opportunities and increasing the economy, he said.
