Raju Kendre founder and CEO of Eklavya India bagged a fellowship for the Royal Society of Arts. Raju Kendre’s Eklavya India has helped 300 students from remote areas to gain admission into noted universities.

Raju Kendre was also amongst the 75 Indian achievers  hounoured by UK. He has his name listed under forbes 30 under 30 for his notable work towards the betterment of underprivileged students.

Alongside his studies, he went to work with an NGO in the Melghat region, where he not only gained insights into grassroots work but also a strengthened resolve to work for tribal communities.

Royal Society Arts (RSA) is a British multi-disciplinary organization based in London. Working since 1754, Benjamin Franklin, Karl Marx, Adam Smith, William Hogarth, Nelson Mandela and Charles Deacon have been 'fellows' in this world-famous institution. Now the name of Raju Kendra from a farming family is going to be added to this list. He has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, London.

Raju Kendra hails from a nomadic community in the small village of Pimpri Khandare in Buldhana district of Vidarbha. His parents did not even have primary education. Raju Kendra is the first higher education in his family. His primary education was done in Zilla Parishad School.

Went to Pune for higher education. However, he could not pursue education due to financial difficulties. Due to circumstances, he finally completed his college education from Open University. During this period he got an opportunity to go to the tribal area of ​​Melghat. At this time, the centers were disturbed by seeing the problems and problems of the tribals.

After completing his post graduation from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, he founded Eklavya Foundation. The 29-year-old Kendra is currently working full-time for the rural underprivileged community through Eklavya Sanstha. He was earlier selected for the British Government's prestigious Cheving Scholarship at SOAS University of London. Last year, the prestigious magazine "Forbes" also included him in the list of 30 distinguished youths.
