Jharkhand National Stakeholders Consultation Begins in New Delhi: CM Soren Inaugurates 2-Day Event Focused on Vision 2050, AI & Investment

Centred on the state’s ambitious Vision 2050, this two-day national consultation is a significant step towards positioning Jharkhand as a leading destination for investment, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Governance, industry, tourism, and innovation.

New Delhi- Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren formally inaugurated the National Stakeholders Consultation 2026 by lighting the traditional lamp in New Delhi today. The event beautifully showcased a harmonious blend of Jharkhand’s rich cultural heritage and its visionary development agenda.

Centred on the state’s ambitious Vision 2050, this two-day national consultation is a significant step towards positioning Jharkhand as a leading destination for investment, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Governance, industry, tourism, and innovation. With fresh ideas, renewed energy, and promising new opportunities, Jharkhand is marching confidently towards a brighter and more prosperous future.

Day 1 Focus: IT, AI and Digital Governance

The first day of the consultation is dedicated to Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Governance. A high-level session on Digital Governance and IT Infrastructure is currently underway, bringing together senior government officials, technology experts, and industry leaders to explore ways to strengthen Jharkhand’s IT ecosystem and accelerate digital transformation.

A key session titled “Shaping Jharkhand’s AI Future” is focusing on the Draft Jharkhand AI Policy, with active deliberations and feedback from stakeholders. Several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed between the Department of Information Technology and leading technology companies during the day.

Business-to-Government (B2G) interactions are also taking place, allowing direct engagement between the Jharkhand Government and representatives from the IT, AI, and digital technology sectors.

The programme will also witness the signing of several strategic MoUs with leading industrial houses to accelerate investment and economic development in Jharkhand.

Day 2: Investment, Tourism and Strategic Partnerships

The second day will focus on Investment and Inclusive Development and Tourism, showcasing Jharkhand's industrial strengths, cultural heritage and tourism potential before domestic and international investors.

A dedicated stakeholder consultation on Industrial Promotion and Investment will deliberate on strategies for attracting new industries and strengthening the State's industrial ecosystem.

The programme will also witness the signing of several strategic MoUs with leading industrial houses to accelerate investment and economic development in Jharkhand.

In addition, the Government will officially unveil several draft policy frameworks and launch new digital portals aimed at improving governance, ease of doing business and investor facilitation.

The National Stakeholders Consultation will conclude with a cultural programme, showcasing Jharkhand's rich cultural heritage, traditional music and dance, etc. The evening will provide delegates, industry leaders, policymakers and distinguished guests from India and abroad with an opportunity to experience the State's unique cultural identity while fostering meaningful networking and collaboration.
