Udaipur- President of India, Droupadi Murmu, attended the 32nd convocation of Mohanlal Sukhadia University on Thursday in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The President encouraged graduates to combine their ambitions with social sensitivity, highlighting that true welfare is achieved through acts of kindness towards others. She cautioned against succumbing to blind selfishness, which can arise from various societal influences, and stressed the need for integrity and ethical conduct in every aspect of their lives.

She described education as a powerful tool for empowerment and expressed pride in the university's long-standing commitment to higher education for over sixty years, particularly noting its efforts to serve students from SC and ST communities. The President recognized the university's role in promoting social justice through inclusive education.

Moreover, she commended Mohanlal Sukhadia University for adopting several villages and engaging students in community development initiatives, reflecting a strong commitment to social responsibility.
