New Delhi-During a wedding ceremony in Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh, chaos erupted when the groom's cousin's clothes were soiled after a waiter accidently spilled food on him. Enraged by the incident, the groom's people mercilessly beat the waiter, resulting in his tragic death. The accused callously disposed of the waiter's body in the bushes before fleeing the scene. Law enforcement promptly intervened, taking the victim's body into custody for post-mortem examination. A formal case has been registered, and investigations are underway to bring the perpetrators to justice.

In a parallel incident, a Dalit Sarpanch in Jalandhar district, Punjab, faced brutality while advocating for disputed land. The opposing party resorted to tying the Sarpanch to a tree and subjecting him to physical abuse. Adding insult to injury, a video documenting the assault was circulated on social media to further humiliate the victim. Subsequently, the police registered an FIR in response to the incident and are actively engaged in an ongoing investigation.

On November 18, in Ghaziabad's Loni Ankur Vihar police station, the police discovered the body of a youth in the bushes near Garhi Kataiya. The victim, identified as Pankaj Kumar from Shankar Vihar, worked as a waiter. The police faced challenges in solving Pankaj's murder but eventually gathered crucial clues. The guest house owner, Manoj Gupta, confessed that Pankaj's death resulted from an altercation during a function. Rishabh, a close friend of Manoj, got into an argument with Pankaj when the waiter accidentally spilled food on Rishabh's clothes. Both Manoj and Rishabh, along with two colleagues, beat Pankaj, leading to his death. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend Rishabh.

In Jalandhar, the distressing case emerged involving the current Sarpanch of Noorpur village, who is affiliated with the Bahujan Samaj Party. The Sarpanch was bound to a tree and subjected to a physical assault by a fellow villager amid a contentious land dispute. Despite a settlement following written agreement between the conflicting parties, the situation escalated when a video capturing the assault went viral on social media, reigniting public attention. Although the police had initially facilitated a compromise and mandated the removal of the video, its resurgence prompted a renewed and thorough investigation into the matter.

Meanwhile, in the Drummondganj police station area of Mirzapur district, another disturbing incident unfolded. A young man faced a brutal form of punishment reminiscent of the Taliban's tactics, allegedly for stealing a mobile phone. The perpetrators suspended him upside down from a tree and administered a severe beating. On the victim's mother's complaint, the police responded swiftly and rescued the victim. The incident was recorded by some people which has gone viral over social media.

According to the information, the video is said to be of December 3. The victim Jaishankar Baheliya had gone to get his slippers mended . While returning home, he was caught and beaten up on charges of mobile theft. When he did not confess to the theft, he was tied with a rope, hanged upside down from a Mahua tree and beaten. After the video went viral, late on Wednesday evening the police registered a case against four youths on the complaint of victim Jaishankar Bahelia.

Three individuals have been apprehended, while one suspect remains at large. Additionally, the police are considering measures to bulldoze the property of the accused as part of their efforts to address the incident and ensure justice for the victim.
