The Mooknayak founder bags LAADLI MEDIA APPRECIATION CITATION for follow-up reporting

The Mooknayak founder Meena Kotwal received 2 appreciation citations.

In a major boost to The Mooknayak and the reportage devoted to women and marginalized sections of the society, Meena Kotwal, founder and Editor of The Mooknayak bagged the Laadli Media appreciation citations in the categories of "Jury Appreciation Citation" for the story titled 'HATHRAS PEEDITA KO GAYE AAJ EK SAAL HO GAYE, DARR KE SAYE MEIN JEE RAHA HAI PARIVAR…!' ( Hathras case marks one year, the family living in the shadow of fear) and 'DELTA MEGHAVAAL MAMALE MEIN DOSHIYON KO SAZA…'( The culprits in the Delta Meghwal case convicted).

The Award was given in the 2022 edition of the Laadli Media Awards for Gender Sensitivity, instituted by Population First. The ceremony took place in Hyderabad on 2 November.
