Udaipur- In a proactive move to commemorate International Women's Day 2024, Pratapgarh Collector Dr. Anjali Rajoria has mandated a thorough audit of women's toilet facilities across various establishments in the district.
Under her directive, schools, colleges, offices, banks, hospitals, hostels, and public women's toilets will be scrutinized for their sanitation systems and amenities.
Deputy Director. Integrated Child Development Services, has been appointed as the nodal officer for this initiative, with support from the Assistant Director of the Women Empowerment Department.
Each establishment falls under the purview of designated officials responsible for overseeing the audit process.
To ensure meticulous assessment, officials will conduct inspections based on predefined criteria, including the availability of water and soap, cleanliness status, and overall condition of the facilities.
" The responsible officers have been directed to establish teams comprised of women subordinates to conduct the audits. They are instructed to submit comprehensive inspection reports based on specific criteria, including the availability of women's toilets, their condition, the presence of water and soap, cleanliness status, and overall hygiene.
Each report must include details such as the names of the inspecting officer/employee, the location, block name, and relevant photographs. Additionally, the report should outline any necessary cleaning arrangements to address identified issues", Dr Rajoria said.
A detailed report, accompanied by photographs, will be compiled to document findings and identify areas for improvement.
