New Delhi- The Ministry of Railways is all set to roll out the Special Campaign 4.0 on the basis of the success of the Special Campaign 3.0. The new initiative aims to further promote cleanliness and reduce pendency in government offices.

The campaign will be implemented in two phases. The first phase, which will run from 13 September 2024 to 30 September 2024, will focus on the preparation of documents, cleaning up the premises and developing the plan for the campaign. The second phase, which will run from 2 October 2024 to 31 October 2024, will focus on the execution of the plan.

In this regard, instructions have already been issued to all the zonal railways, 70 divisional offices, 10 PSUs, 9 PUs and 9 central training institutes of the Indian Railways. The ministry has also created a WhatsApp group of nodal officers from all railway units for faster communication in the campaign.

As the preparatory phase of the campaign has started, the target of pending references, review of files, cleanliness campaign sites and scrap disposal of all railway units will be fixed by different parameters. The Ministry of Railways is committed to making Swachhatta a routine practice and ensuring the prompt disposal of references. It is hopeful that the targets set for the preparatory phase will be achieved.
