Kathmandu- Nepal's Prime Minister's Natural Disaster Relief Fund has received an overwhelming response, with deposits exceeding Rs 1.82 billion. The funds, collected as of October 20, will support survivors of the devastating floods and landslides triggered by torrential rains on September 27-28.

Contributions have poured in from individuals, institutions, companies, and agencies. The government has utilized these resources to provide financial assistance to families of 238 victims and support municipalities in affected areas.

The relief efforts aim to alleviate the suffering of those impacted by the disasters, ensuring essential aid reaches those who need it most.
