Lahore, Pakistan - Lahore has reached a new milestone, becoming the world's most polluted city on Sunday, according to data from global monitoring sites reported by ARY News. The city's Air Quality Index (AQI) soared to a near-critical 690, placing it at the top of the unenviable list.

This alarming level of pollution has prompted health authorities to issue urgent warnings for residents.
