New Delhi, India – As part of the nationwide Special Campaign 4.0, the Department of Sports has been actively engaged in resolving pending issues and promoting cleanliness across its offices and affiliated organizations. The campaign, launched by the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG), runs from October 2nd to 31st, 2024.
The Department of Sports, along with organizations like the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), National Sports University (NSU), National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA), and National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL), have undertaken a two-phase approach to the campaign.
The first phase, from September 16th to 30th, focused on identifying and addressing pending matters such as parliamentary references, public grievances, and internal file reviews. The second phase, from October 2nd to 31st, is dedicated to resolving these identified issues and implementing cleanliness and beautification initiatives.
During the first phase, the Department identified 15 MP references, two parliamentary assurances, and 30 public grievances for resolution. Additionally, 210 physical files and 220 e-files were slated for review, and 44 cleanliness drives were planned.
In the ongoing second phase, the Department has successfully addressed 8 MP references, 2 parliamentary assurances, and 22 public grievances. Furthermore, 210 physical files and 130 e-files have been reviewed, and 29 outdoor cleanliness drives have been conducted.
The Department remains committed to resolving all pending matters and ensuring the cleanliness and beautification of identified areas within its offices and campuses.
