3 Bodies Found in Flooded Delhi Coaching Institute Basement

The Delhi Police has registered an FIR and formed multiple teams to probe the Rajinder Nagar coaching centre flooding incident which killed three IAS aspirants, officials said on Sunday.

New Delhi- By virtue of the Delhi Police, the search for the third body in the flooded basement of the Rajendra Nagar coaching institute has been extended. Three bodies have been recovered from the basement. Due to the poor visibility and flooded basement, rescue operations are continuing with the help of divers from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).

 More students are reportedly stuck in the basement, even as water is being pumped out through motors. Police sources said three students are unaccounted for and a search for them is underway. Three bodies have been recovered, while an FIR was registered in the incident.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has been questioned by Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva for the corruption in the Delhi government. According to Sachdeva, the AAP government should order an inquiry into the corruption of Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi, and their government. He also demanded that the drainage system of Delhi should be cleaned.

Due to the flooded basement, rescue operations are continuing with the help of divers from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). The search and rescue operation is going on continuously and the police are working vigilantly for any more lives that may be trapped in the basement.
