New Delhi- Echoing allegations made by Congress candidate Sandeep Dikshit, Alka Lamba, Congress candidate from the Kalkaji Assembly seat, asserted that Punjab Police personnel are actively campaigning for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi elections.

Speaking to IANS, Lamba stated that this was not an allegation but a "truth," claiming that AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is leveraging Punjab's resources for electoral gains in Delhi. Lamba cited the presence of Punjab Police personnel in her constituency, Govindpuri, as evidence, alleging that they have been pulled away from their duties in Punjab.

Lamba further criticized Kejriwal for invoking Shaheed Bhagat Singh's name while allegedly misusing Punjab's funds and resources. She stated that Kejriwal should ask for forgiveness from the people of Punjab for his "false oath." She also accused Kejriwal of fostering a climate of fear in Punjab, alleging that Punjab's ministers fear losing their positions if the AAP loses the Delhi elections.

Lamba also criticized Kejriwal's political conduct, stating that he claims to change the system but now engages in religious politics. She questioned his morality, referencing his previous arrest on fraud charges. She urged voters to consider the Congress party, led by Rahul Gandhi, as a "strong alternative" to the AAP.
