NIELIT Delhi Hosts Job Fair for Alumni and Students

New Delhi- The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) Delhi organized its Job Fair 2024 on September 29. It was held at the NIELIT Delhi office in Pankha Road, Janakpuri, New Delhi. The fair was aimed at facilitating employment opportunities for NIELIT alumni and students.

There were 16 companies participating in the job fair, offering more than 1000 jobs. More than 1300 candidates registered for the event. The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi, Director General, NIELIT. He was warmly welcomed by Subhanshu Tiwari, Executive Director, NIELIT Delhi. The job fair began with the lighting of the inaugural lamp and ended with an address to the attendees.

In his address, Dr. Tripathi spoke about the importance of job fairs organized by NIELIT across India. He informed that over 6000 offer letters were distributed in the job fairs organized by NIELIT across India in the last year, with the number expected to increase this year. He highlighted how the job fairs empower students to secure good careers, contribute to the growth of organizations, and fuel economic development. He also expressed gratitude to the team NIELIT Delhi for organizing the job fair in Delhi.

The event included a technical session on "Soft Skills - CV Building" by Mohammad Junaid, Assistant Manager, Digital India Corporation, MeitY.
