Haryana Offers 10% Horizontal Reservation, Interest-Free Loan for Agniveers

New Delhi- To recruit employees in certain departments of the Haryana government, 10 percent horizontal reservation will be given to Agniveers, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced on Thursday.

The state government will give 10 percent reservation in direct recruitment for constable, mining guard, forest guard, jail warden and SPO posts in the police, mining and jail departments. To recruit employees in group D, the age limit of three years will be reduced to five years. The reservation of Agniveers in group C will be 5 percent and in group B will be 1 percent.

The Chief Minister said that Agniveers seeking deployment in government departments, boards and corporations will be given priority in matrix scores. The Chief Minister said that if Agniveers are given more than 30 thousand rupees per month salary in any industrial unit, then the government will give an annual subsidy of 60 thousand rupees to that industrial unit.

Apart from this, the Chief Minister also announced that if any Agniveer sets up his own enterprise, he will be given an interest-free loan of up to 5 lakh rupees. He said, Agniveers will also be given arms license on priority basis. If someone meets with an accident, compensation will also be given under the Road Transport Highway Scheme of the Government of India and free treatment will be provided.
