Mumbai- In the world of music, hip-hop is often seen as a medium of expression, entertainment, and protest for the younger generation. But 15-year-old independent rapper Raj Bhimrao Gaikwad from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Maharashtra is preparing to take a different kind of initiative through this genre. Known professionally as RBGKALAKAAR, Raj is developing a special hip-hop project centered on the Indian Constitution, social justice, and the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

The project is titled 'SAVIDHAN AWAAZ-E-HAQ: REVOLUTION OF 1950'. Its aim is to bring the historical significance of the Constitution, the process of its drafting and adoption, the constitutional changes made over time, and the ideals enshrined in it to people through music. Raj is working on this project under his independent creative platform 'RBG UNIVERSE'. His attempt to present a serious and vast subject like the Constitution through hip-hop at such a young age makes this a unique creative initiative.

Trying to Bring the Story of the Constitution to People Through Music

According to Raj, this project is not limited to just creating music. At its core are the historical journey of the Indian Constitution and the social questions associated with it. He wants to make the drafting of the Constitution, its adoption, constitutional amendments, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's role and legacy part of his creative expression. An important aspect of the project is also to highlight the gap between the ideals of the Constitution and the existing political and social realities.

The Constitution connects every citizen to the principles of equality, liberty, justice, and dignity. But how much these constitutional values are visible in real life is a question that remains part of social discourse even today. Raj is trying to express this very gap through the language of music and hip-hop.

An Initiative to Bring Dr. Ambedkar's Legacy to the New Generation

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's legacy has been given special importance in this project. His significant role in the making of the Indian Constitution and his thoughts on social equality remain part of public discourse even today. Raj's project tries to connect this historical legacy with the creative language of the younger generation. The special feature of hip-hop is that artists can express their experiences, thoughts, and social questions directly through words and music.

In such a scenario, presenting a subject like the Constitution in this genre can become a new medium for conversation among the youth about constitutional rights, social justice, and democratic values.

Raj Bhimrao Gaikwad, a 15-year-old young rapper from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Maharashtra, is now preparing to bring the message of the Constitution to people through hip-hop. Known professionally as RBGKALAKAAR, Raj has prepared an album of eight songs based on the Indian Constitution. Titled 'SAVIDHAN AWAAZ-E-HAQ: REVOLUTION OF 1950', this album will be released on November 26 on the occasion of Constitution Day. It includes topics such as the drafting and historical journey of the Constitution, constitutional changes, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's legacy, and social justice.

In a conversation with The Mooknayak, Raj said that the main objective of writing this rap is to spread awareness about the Constitution to as many people as possible. He wants the younger generation to understand the Constitution, their rights, and the values of equality, liberty, justice, and fraternity enshrined in it. Raj is working on this project under his independent creative platform RBG UNIVERSE. His effort is to ensure that a popular music genre like hip-hop is not limited to entertainment alone but is also made a medium for social awareness and the expression of constitutional ideas.

Trying to Build an Independent Creative Identity at the Age of 15

Raj Bhimrao Gaikwad is from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Maharashtra and is making a name for himself as RBGKALAKAAR. Rather than working with a big music institution or an established music label, he is working through his independent creative platform RBG UNIVERSE. His upcoming project also draws attention to the fact that young artists no longer want to remain limited to entertainment alone but are also making social and constitutional subjects part of their art.

However, the actual reach and impact of this project will only become clear after its music, the content of its songs, and its presentation. For now, its concept can be seen as a creative attempt to connect the Indian Constitution with youth culture and contemporary music.

Can Hip-Hop Become a Medium of Constitutional Consciousness?

In India, discussions about the Constitution and its values often remain limited to educational institutions, political platforms, social movements, and public events. In such a scenario, presenting these subjects through a popular medium like music can be an option for establishing a dialogue with the youth. Through this project, Raj Bhimrao Gaikwad wants to present the Constitution not merely as a legal document but as a broader discourse connected to social life, rights, and equality.
