New Delhi- Beijing said on Tuesday that it had reached a resolution with India to resolve their border conflict and would implement solutions, a day after India’s foreign minister announced a deal to patrol their disputed frontier.

Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian told a regular news briefing that the two countries had been in close communication through diplomatic and military channels.

“China and India have reached a resolution on resolving their border conflict and will work to implement solutions,” Ms Lin said.

India's foreign minister announced Monday that the two countries reached a deal on patrolling their disputed frontier, ending a four-year military standoff and improving political and business relations between the Asian giants.
