New Delhi- As India celebrates the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution, a series of events has been planned nationwide to honor this historic milestone. The highlight of the celebrations will be an address by the President of India to a joint session of Parliament on November 26, 2024.
Alongside the Union and State Governments, political parties across the country are rallying around the slogan, “Let us protect the Constitution,” urging citizens to uphold the values enshrined in the nation's founding document.
Manarkeni Publications, under the stewardship of Dr. D. Ravikumar MP, has announced a landmark initiative to engage the youth and reinforce constitutional values. The publishing house is set to release 75 concise books on the Indian Constitution, with the ambitious goal of completing the series by November 2025.
Each book in the series will span 30–40 pages and be priced at an affordable Rs. 30, ensuring accessibility to readers across the social spectrum. Designed to foster greater understanding and appreciation of constitutional principles, the series aims to inspire young minds and galvanize public discourse around social justice, equality, and democracy.
The first three books of the series will be released on Constitution Day, November 26, by Dr. Thol. Thirumavalavan, MP, and Founder-President of the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK).
The event marks the beginning of a year-long initiative that resonates with the constitutional spirit of inclusivity and commitment to democratic ideals.
Dr. D. Ravikumar, in a statement, emphasized the importance of transcending political divisions to uphold the Constitution's values. He called on all citizens who believe in social justice and democracy to support the initiative, highlighting the need to engage the youth in this collective effort.
This innovative project by Manarkeni Publications is expected to play a pivotal role in spreading constitutional awareness, strengthening the foundations of democracy, and inspiring the next generation to champion the ideals of the Indian Constitution.
