Outbreak in Kerala: Cholera Cases Reach Seven

Thiruvananthapuram: Five more cases of cholera have been reported from Kerala. According to the State Health Department, one of the cases is from a special school hostel in Neyyattinkara.

As per the information received by Akashvani, the hostel has been temporarily closed and the health department is closely monitoring the situation. A rapid response team has also been formed to investigate the causes of the outbreak and develop a strategy to prevent its spread.

The State Health Department says that the hostel has been temporarily closed, and all the people who came in contact with it are being closely monitored. Samples from the hostel are also being tested for water quality.

After the confirmation of five new cases of cholera, the total number of confirmed cases from Kerala rises to seven. The State Health Department says that it is taking all necessary measures to contain the outbreak.
