ABDM Transforms Healthcare Landscape with 67 Crore ABHA IDs

New Delhi- The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) has been instrumental in transforming the country's digital healthcare landscape by providing a platform for the integration of digital health services.

Launched in 2021, the mission has made significant progress in creating a robust digital health infrastructure that has enhanced accessibility, efficiency, and transparency in healthcare delivery.

The ABDM has created more than 67 crore Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA), which serve as a unique digital identity for every citizen. These ABHA IDs have enabled the secure sharing of health records, facilitating faster access to medical histories and enhancing healthcare delivery.

The mission has also leveraged the Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) to enable interoperability in digital health transactions.
