UPSC Files FIR Against Trainee IAS Officer Puja Khedkar for Fraudulent Examination Practices

New Delhi- The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has initiated decisive action against Puja Manorama Dilip Khedkar, a candidate provisionally recommended in the Civil Services Examination-2022, after uncovering serious violations of examination rules.

Following a thorough investigation, it was revealed that Khedkar had fraudulently exceeded the permissible number of attempts by altering her identity. This included changing her name, her parents' names, her photograph, signature, email ID, mobile number, and address.

In response to these findings, the UPSC has taken multiple actions against Khedkar. The Commission has filed a First Information Report (FIR) with the police authorities, initiating criminal prosecution. Additionally, a Show Cause Notice (SCN) has been issued, which could lead to the cancellation of her candidature for the Civil Services Examination-2022 and a potential debarment from future examinations and selections.

The UPSC emphasized its commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and fairness in its examination processes. The Commission reaffirmed its dedication to maintaining the sanctity and credibility of its examinations, ensuring strict adherence to rules and due diligence in all its operations.
