New Delhi- Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, inaugurated six new initiatives in New Delhi today as part of the ministry's 100-day accomplishment showcase. Among the initiatives are the National e-Vidhan Application 2.0 (NeVA 2.0), the Subordinate Legislation Management System, the Consultative Committee Management System, the National Youth Parliament Scheme 2.0, and programs related to Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs).

The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs announced that NeVA 2.0 will offer advanced features, including a more user-friendly interface and enhanced integration with state legislative processes. These initiatives aim to create a paperless legislative environment, promote real-time governance, and improve decision-making processes, especially in the formulation of subordinate legislation under various Acts.

Additionally, a new National Youth Parliament Competition is being launched for students of EMRSs. This scheme intends to strengthen democratic foundations, foster tolerance for diverse viewpoints, instill disciplined habits, and acquaint tribal students with the workings of Parliament and its institutions by organizing annual competitions among EMRSs.
