New Delhi- The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) will soon start the Special Campaign 4.0 to reduce the pendency in the government offices. The campaign will start from October 2 and will be carried out till October 31.
The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has planned this campaign to institutionalize Swachhata and minimize pendency in the government offices. Under this campaign, the physical files and documents will be digitized and weeded out.
According to the information, during the 3.0 of the campaign, the targets of the campaign were achieved by the end of the October 31. The department claims that during the two months, 11407 physical files and documents were digitized and weeded out, space of about 8472 Sqft. was freed up, and the revenue of Rs 5,66,517/- was generated.
The department is preparing for the start of the next phase of the campaign. Under this, the work will be carried out from September 16 to 30 and the implementation phase will start from October 2 to 31.
According to the information, the department has appointed an officer of the department for this purpose and has also asked the subordinate officers, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies under the administrative control of the department to appoint their nodal officers and identify the pendency in their offices.
The department says that it is committed to ensuring the success of this campaign. For this, sincere and dedicated efforts will be made to achieve the targets identified in the preparatory phase.
