New Delhi- The Delhi government has imposed a complete ban on the production, storage, sale, and use of firecrackers to combat pollution in the national capital. This ban will be in effect until January 1 next year.

According to the Delhi government, the ban on firecrackers aims to control pollution in the city during the winter season. The government will also launch an action plan for the effective enforcement of the ban.

It is noteworthy that online sales and delivery of firecrackers will also be prohibited during this period. The Delhi government has taken this decision due to the increasing air pollution in the city.
