PM Modi Interacts with National Teachers Awardees, Emphasizes Role in Shaping Viksit Bharat

New Delhi- Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with teachers who received the National Teachers Awards at his residence, on Friday. The teachers shared their experiences, innovative teaching methods, and social work initiatives with the Prime Minister. He praised their dedication and the passion they bring to education, which led to their recognition through the awards.

During the interaction, PM Modi highlighted the impact of the National Education Policy (NEP) and stressed the importance of education in one's mother tongue. He suggested that teachers introduce students to local folklore in different languages, allowing them to learn multiple languages and appreciate India's rich cultural diversity.

The Prime Minister also encouraged teachers to organize educational tours for students, enabling them to explore India's diversity firsthand. Such tours would not only enhance learning but also promote tourism and boost local economies.

PM Modi urged the awardee teachers to connect with each other via social media, sharing best practices and learning from one another to further improve education across the country.

He concluded by emphasizing the critical role teachers play in preparing today's youth for a developed India (Viksit Bharat), acknowledging their service as vital to the nation's future.
