New Delhi- Prime Minister Narendra Modi held the eighth edition of 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' (PPC) at Sunder Nursery in New Delhi, engaging with students nationwide on exam preparation and stress management. During the live-broadcast event, Modi used cricket analogies to emphasize the importance of focus, advising students to concentrate on their goals rather than external pressures. He acknowledged the societal pressure around exam scores, noting how low grades often create tension at home, and encouraged students to train their minds to embrace challenges.
The Prime Minister placed significant emphasis on holistic well-being during exam preparation, discussing the importance of proper sleep, nutrition, and exposure to morning sunlight. When discussing health practices, he engaged with students from the Northeast who shared their experience of morning assemblies in the early sunrise. The session also included a memorable moment when a student named Akanksha from Kerala recited a poem, contributing to the interactive nature of the event.
This year's edition of PPC has expanded significantly, attracting participation from 5 crore students and featuring representatives from various government schools including Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, and Navodaya Vidyalayas.
The 2025 program will include seven episodes featuring discussions with prominent personalities like Deepika Padukone, Sadhguru, Mary Kom, Vikrant Massey, and Rujuta Diwekar, focusing on topics ranging from holistic development to managing exam-related pressures. The initiative has evolved into a nationwide movement promoting positive approaches to learning and student well-being.
