The incentive payments will only be made to native residents of Rajasthan who are enrolled in government or state-recognized schools, colleges, and universities, and are studying agriculture.

Jaipur- In a sincere effort not only to encourage girls' education but also to motivate them to study agricultural sciences, guidelines have been issued for the implementation of the incentive program for female students.

Girls studying agriculture in the 11th and 12th grades will receive an annual amount of ₹15,000. Those pursuing undergraduate degrees in agriculture will be granted ₹25,000 annually for four years, postgraduate students will receive ₹25,000 annually for two years, and Ph.D. students specializing in agriculture will be provided ₹40,000 annually for three years.

The incentive payments will only be made to native residents of Rajasthan who are enrolled in government or state-recognized schools, colleges, and universities, and are studying agriculture.

Students repeating a grade due to failure or those re-enrolling in the same grade to improve their marks will not be eligible for the incentive.

Previously, the focus for girls was primarily on selecting UG and PG colleges. However, the government is now striving to advance girls in the field of agriculture by integrating agricultural education into their academic progression.

To apply, students must use the e-Mitra service or their own SSO ID to register on the Raj Kisan Saathi portal and submit their applications to the Joint Director of Agricultural Extension of the district council before January 31, 2025.

Schools, colleges, and universities must register on the Raj Kisan Saathi portal and issue an e-certificate online. Notably, this year, the e-signed certificate from the head of the institution must be issued within the same financial year in which the application for the incentive is made.

Failure by the head of the institution to issue the e-signed certificate within the specified financial year will result in the student not receiving the incentive, for which the institution head will be held accountable.
