Dharmendra Pradhan highlights NEP 2020's role in advancing education

New Delhi- Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan participated in a fireside chat organized by the US India Strategic Partnership Forum as part of the India Leadership Summit 2024. He discussed India's progress in education, highlighting the National Education Policy 2020's role.

Pradhan was joined by LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky and Pace University President Marvin Krislov. He emphasized India's growing focus on technology, learning in Indian languages, and enhancing research and employability skills within the framework of the National Education Policy 2020, which is approaching its fifth anniversary. He stressed that these initiatives are aimed at fostering a knowledge-based economy and preparing a future-ready generation of global citizens.

The Education Minister also highlighted India's openness to collaboration with foreign universities, inviting them to establish campuses in the country. He emphasized India's commitment to prioritizing competency over degrees and its role as a growth engine for the global economy.
