New Delhi- Delhi BJP leaders organized multiple protests against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday, over his controversial remarks about Hindu community.

Leading the protests was Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj, who condemned Gandhi's statements as irresponsible and accused him of promoting appeasement politics.

Bansuri Swaraj criticized Gandhi, stating, "Rahul Gandhi made an irresponsible statement aimed at promoting appeasement politics." Gandhi, however, denied the allegations, asserting that his comments were directed at the BJP and not at any specific community.

The protests saw significant participation, with BJP Delhi State President Virendra Sachdeva addressing the crowd.

Sachdeva elaborated on the reasons behind the protests. "Leader of the Opposition and electoral Hindu Rahul Gandhi's remarks have hurt the sentiments of the entire Hindu community. In response, a large protest was held in Delhi today with thousands of activists and common people."

Addressing those who label compassionate, tolerant, and peaceful Hindus as violent, Sachdeva stated, "If Hindus were violent, the issues of Kashi and Mathura would have been resolved by now, our holy cows would not be subjected to cruelty, Lord Shri Ram would not have had to reside in a tent, and we would not have had to wait 500 years for his temple. If Hindus were violent, no one would dare to harm our sisters and daughters."

The massive protest witnessed the participation of several prominent BJP leaders, including National President of the Youth Wing and MP Tejasvi Surya, former Delhi State President and MP Manoj Tiwari, MP Yogender Chandolia, and MP Bansuri Swaraj.

The protests highlighted the BJP's stance against what they perceive as Gandhi's divisive rhetoric and their commitment to protecting the dignity and sentiments of the Hindu community.

As political tensions continue to rise, this incident marks another chapter in the ongoing conflict between the BJP and the Congress.
