Maharashtra Governor Launches Employability Initiatives

Education initiatives to enhance job prospects for young people

New Delhi- Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan has taken a significant step forward in enhancing the state's educational landscape by launching a number of educational initiatives and international collaborations aimed at providing employment opportunities to young people.

The initiatives were launched at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai, and they include the second phase of the 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Shala, Sundar Shala' program, launched by the School Education Department of the Government of Maharashtra.

Other notable initiatives include the 'Maha Vachan Utsav' and 'Majhi Parasbaug' initiatives, which are also led by the School Education Department of the Government of Maharashtra. The event also witnessed the unveiling of the logo and QR code for a programme dedicated to providing employment and skill development opportunities to young people from Maharashtra in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

To mark the occasion, the School Education Department signed an MoU with Goethe Institutes in Mumbai and Pune to facilitate the teaching of German language to students in Maharashtra. Another MoU was also signed with Brihan Maharashtra Mandal America, which is aimed at promoting Marathi language education in the United States.
