Bijnor Kaushal Mahotsav Concludes with 6000 Placements

Over 30 companies hire candidates from 5-day job readiness programme

New Delhi- The Bijnor Kaushal Mahotsav 2024, under the aegis of the Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Ministry (MSDE), successfully concluded on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, with the placement of 6000 young people in various job opportunities across the country.

The 5-day job readiness programme, which began with a training period of 4 weeks, saw 3500 candidates selected and offered jobs by over 30 companies in industries like tourism, hospitality, logistics, food processing, IT, automotive, BFSI, and electronics. The event also witnessed the participation of corporates like Burger King, Zepto, Quess Corp, Flipkart, Jubilant Foods, Barbeque Nation, Vision India, and Yuva Shakti Foundation.

The Kaushal Mahotsav was part of the Skill India Mission of the government, which aims to create a skilled workforce that can help drive economic growth and prosperity. The programme is expected to benefit the youth of Bijnor and other adjoining regions by enabling them to acquire skills and experience in a variety of sectors. This will not only improve their chances of employment but also contribute to the overall development of the area.
