Government Embraces Digital Future with E-Office Rollout, Nationwide Implementation Aims to Boost Efficiency

94% files, 95% receipts processed digitally in successful pilot

New Delhi- In a significant step towards digital governance, the government has decided to implement the e-Office platform in all the attached, subordinate, and autonomous bodies of the government.

This decision has been taken to improve the operational efficiency and streamline the work processes in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG). The new initiative comes after the successful implementation of the e-Office system in 94 percent of the files and 95 percent of the receipts processed digitally.

The government has taken a significant step forward in the digital transformation of administrative processes with the issuance of these guidelines. The guidelines provide the necessary directions and detailed information regarding the implementation of e-Office across the country's 133 identified offices.

This decision aims to improve the operational efficiency and streamline the work processes in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
