PM Modi to Distribute Funds in Jalgaon, Jodhpur

Lakhpati Didis to receive financial boost from the PM

The country's premier minister is scheduled to visit Jalgaon and Jodhpur tomorrow. The visit is aimed at participating in the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan and interacting with Lakhpati Didis from across the country.

While in Jalgaon, Modi will distribute a revolving fund of Rs 2,500 crore to 48 lakh members of self-help groups and a bank loan of Rs 5,000 crore to 26 lakh members of self-help groups, according to a news release. So far, one crore women have become Lakhpati Didis. The government has set a target of making three crore Lakhpati Didis.

As per the information, Modi will also inaugurate the Rajasthan High Court Museum in the evening. He will also attend the closing ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur.
