New Delhi- The last date for the special Lok Adalat organized by the Supreme Court to provide speedy justice to the citizens has ended. The Supreme Court had organised this initiative to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Apex Court.

The special Lok Adalat provided accessible and efficient justice in a swift and cost-effective manner. The initiative aims to provide maximum justice to the citizens by speedy and cost-effective means. The Law Minister Arjunram Meghwal said that more than one thousand cases were resolved in this Lok Adalat.

The cases related to civil, land acquisition and Matrimonial were resolved in this Lok Adalat. The Minister emphasised the importance of mediation in Indian culture.
