New Delhi- The President of Droupadi Murmu has inaugurated the Amrit Udyan Summer Annuals 2024 at Rashtrapati Bhavan on August 14. The Udyan will open to the public from Friday and visitors can visit till 15th September. To ignite young minds with the spirit of Amrit Udyan, button badges will be distributed among the school children. Another new physical setup is an interactive Sound Pipe exhibit. It will allow children to experience the fascinating world of acoustics first-hand.

Visitors will also be given an eco-friendly Seed Papers memento. This is the first time that sports personnel have been invited to witness the Udyan on August 29 on National Sports Day.

In addition, teachers from schools and universities have been asked to visit the flowers in their glory. Free shuttle bus service will also be available for the convenience of the visitors. The Udyan is rich in various summer annuals, Bonsai Garden, rare and exotic flowers, landscape of Central Lawn, Long Garden, and majestic Banyans.
